A criminal defense lawyer since 2001, Jeff Raven has dedicated his legal career to defending persons charged with all levels of criminal misconduct.  A Northern California native, Mr. Raven grew up in Chico, California.  After attending Butte College and Sacramento City College,  where he was a National Community College Debate Champion, Mr. Raven graduated from UCLA undergrad with honors: earning degrees in Political Science and Business.  He graduated from UCLA Law School in 2001.

Mr. Raven began his legal career in criminal defense as a deputy public defender in the office of the Yolo County Public Defender.  It was there that he was assigned to and won his first murder case.  After years serving the interests of indigent clients, Mr. Raven entered private practice.  He practices all over Northern California, with primary emphasis in the Yolo and Sacramento areas.  Since 2004, Mr. Raven has also been an Adjunct Professor at UC Davis Law School, teaching Trial Advocacy to law students.
